Baltex Trust Layer Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Trust Layer is an optional security and compliance feature provided by Baltex. It automatically screens all incoming cryptocurrency transactions before they reach the recipient’s wallet, assessing them for fraud, scams, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks. Only verified and low-risk funds are forwarded to the final destination.

2. How It Works

When Trust Layer is enabled:

  • You submit your destination wallet address and select a supported cryptocurrency.
  • A unique deposit address is generated, which you may share with the sender.
  • Incoming funds are automatically screened using third-party risk intelligence and Baltex’s internal compliance tools.
  • If the transaction passes all checks, the funds are forwarded to your wallet.

3. Supported Assets

Trust Layer supports major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, and more. A complete list of supported assets is available on our Available Coins page.

4. Processing Time

Most transactions are processed and forwarded within a few minutes. However, in cases requiring additional compliance review, screening may take longer. Status updates are provided in real time.

5. Fees

A service fee is charged per transaction to cover the cost of compliance screening. Fees vary depending on the asset and are disclosed upfront before the transaction is processed.

6. Handling of High-Risk Transactions

If a transaction is flagged during the screening process:

  • The funds may be temporarily held for manual review by our compliance team.
  • You will be notified of the issue and may be asked to provide additional information.
  • Depending on the outcome of the review, the funds may be forwarded to your wallet, or returned to the sender, subject to applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Baltex reserves the right to refuse to forward any transaction that is deemed high-risk, non-compliant, or associated with suspicious activity.

7. Privacy and Data Use

We collect and retain only the data necessary to perform risk screening and to comply with applicable laws and regulations. All personal and transactional data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

While Trust Layer is designed to enhance security and support regulatory compliance, Baltex does not guarantee the identification of all fraudulent or non-compliant activity. The service is provided on an “as is” basis and should be used at your own risk. Users remain solely responsible for any transactions conducted through their wallet.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Trust Layer service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this feature.
